My name is Alena Gavrylova, I am the owner and general manager of European-Brides Marriage agency.
I am from Sevastopol in Crimea in the South of Ukraine, but now I live in England with my husband, Tim.
We met each other through an internet introductions agency in autumn, 2002. In winter, 2002 I came to England and we got married in early spring, 2003. And now we have a very happy marriage.

You may ask why I made the decision to marry a man from outside my home country. Let me explain:
I did not leave my country to escape poverty or violent, alcoholic men. I love Sevastopol, and all Crimea, it is a fascinating and picturesque place with wonderful summers and winters. Crimea has magnificent palaces and parks and is home to some of the friendliest people you could meet. I married my husband because I found him to be a fair, gentle and open-hearted man. We both enjoy being married to a “foreigner” and love exploring each other cultures. We are both extremely happy with our choice.

As you can see, both myself and my husband have a lot of experience of the exciting adventure you are about to embark on. The experience will be rewarding for you on many levels – not least the fact that you may find the love of your life.
